Prime Sliding Shower Enclosure, Base & Backwall Kit is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Small Space Shower enclosure kitl Installation was of the shower pan, rear walls, and door kits. Installation was by an experienced remodeling firm that had not installed this exact combination.Arrived as a 330 pound pallet with one package at 100 pounds plus. Poorly done installation instructions spread out over three different packages. Example: Glass shelves and hardware came in the glass package but the installation instructions came in the back wall package. Example: Hardware packs are unlabled in relation to instruction sequence. Pre-purchase information should have warning about tempered glass handling and installation cautions regarding possible breakage. The plastic back wall panels should have a rougher rear texture on them to give the adhesive used to hold them to the wall something to grip to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great edition to out small bathroom. I bought this unit few months ago and just put together last month. It's very modern and very nice and most important did not take to much space. Very good quality of all elements including glass doors. It was very easily to assemble that unit. Thank you Dream Line for very good product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent quality The specifications are a bit misleading. The shower pan must be installed against studs, and the backwalls are glued to "finished" walls, but the finished walls have to be waterproofed, so there are a few extra steps that are conveniently missing from the description.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great looking shower Nice quality shower. Everything fits together well. It is a 2 men job. I did it alone but it was tough. I installed the 33" round shower but it is on the small side. I would go with a bigger one next time. Make sure your walls are plumb. It makes the job easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great buy I just got this installed and it is perfect, perfect size, looks beautiful. The only problem was that the instructions were a little confusing. I called tech support and the associate who answered was very helpful and was able to clear up the confusion quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome shower for a small space I am so happy with this shower inmy new bathroom. I had limited space to work with and needed a small but functional shower. This one is great. You will need a plumber to install and several days so mortar and glue and caulk dry sufficiently.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks nice, a little complicated. Once put together- if done correctly, the kit looks great. Installation is definitely more difficult than standard shower kits and is definitely not a DIY unless you hire someone with experience.- Contractor

Rated 5 out of 5 by from RATED #1 BY MY INSTALLERS After researching many vendors and models of shower units, we decided on the dream line corner unit. We felt it was the best built kit and our plumber and installer agreed.

What type of drain will fit the shower base? Can you list a few.

Asked by: Taghi
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. DreamLine recommends a 2" PVC compression fitted shower drain, readily available at any plumbing department or hardware store. The 4-1/4" screen that is included will also fit the base. DreamLine recommends installation of the drain by a professional. Given that 1/2" drywall is used in the bathroom and the thickness of the backwall is 1/8", should a 7/16" backer board be used or a 1/2" backer board?

Asked by: Behzad
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. We recommend 1/2" backer board. It is not necessary to use anything special or unusual. The base is installed to the studs, then the backer board is installed to the top of the tile flange on the shower base. After that the acrylic panels are adhered to the backer board. The shower walls come with the whole for the valve or can does it require for whole cut out.?

Asked by: Juan1986

Shower walls head and faucet cutouts in Figure 7 measurements “E” and “F” say from “bottom of shower wall”. is that the surface you stand on while showering, top of base curbs? top of drywall flanges? is 1/8” gap accounted for in instructions?

Asked by: HandyJ
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. The bottom of the shower wall is the bottom of the acrylic panel, not the surface that you stand on or any other dimension. You will measure for your specific fixture placement before cutting, so you or your installer will measure for an accurate cut. It is always advisable to measure twice and cut once, as you know.
