  • IT Help Desk Technician - Warminster, PA

    • Job Summary

      The IT Help Desk Technicians is a member of a specialized team that provides a single point of contact for end-users to receive support for all technology related issues within the company's computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and telephone equipment to ensure they all work as designed.     • Job Summary

      This position will be responsible for managing, supervising and coordinating activities of employees engaged in incoming and outgoing shipments, and preparing items for shipment at the ASD RFC. The Manager reviews shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of all RFC shipments.

       
    • Essential Responsibilities

      • Oversee all shipping and receiving RFC operations during every shift including managing inventory in the shipping area for accuracy and personnel, comparing shipment contents with manifests, and ensuring adherence to all safety protocols. • Manages shipping and receiving department staff including assigning employees to specific tasks, determining staffing requirements based on business need, leads recruitment efforts, interviews and hires new employees as needed. • Recruits, hires and trains all RFC Warehouse employees. • Packs items for shipment, loads and unloads trucks. • Trains employees to ensure proper protocols are followed. • Ensures all employees wear and use required PPE at all times. • Create, modify, and implement safety and security protocols as needed for shipping and receiving staff, including performing after-action reviews following any incidents. • Review shipping & logistic operations to determine overall levels of efficiency, safety, employee morale, and production, and present findings and suggested changes to Plant Manager. • Analyze work orders, invoices, and demand forecasts daily to estimate shipping, storage, and delivery requirements, and use this information to create employee schedules and resource allocation requests. • Verifying the contents of received packages. • Packs items, loads and unloads trucks. • Identify any back-orders and ensure paperwork is noted accordingly. • Maintain a clear and safe work area. • Match the received items to the description stated on the accompanying bill of lading. • Inspect physical condition of the shipping area, dock, shipping inventory area and initiate appropriate actions to remedy unsatisfactory findings. • Communicate directly with customers as necessary to answer questions, relay shipping updates, and handle complaints calmly and efficiently with Plant Manager. • Investigates and addresses employee issues as needed. • Insure individual and team levels of performance meet or exceed goals and expectations. • Other duties, as assigned.
