Enigma-X Sliding Shower Enclosure is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Shower This is a very heavy shower. The end panel is 99 lbs and the others are 70 lbs each. It is very elegant and beautiful. It is a difficult install. The brackets that attach to the walls embed into the glass at the end leaving the glass susceptible to breaking. You must preattach the brackets and hold a 100 lb piece of glass to the wall, level it and trace out the profile of the brackets to the wall, remove the glass, drill the holes for the brackets, attach brackets and glass. Other showers is a 1 step process of attach bracket then glass. You double the work and risk breaking the glass. Aside from that, it is beautiful

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great start to your own spa! We bought our Frameless shower because we were sick and tired of our small 70's fiberglass show. I ripped it out and started all over with the frameless Glass shower. First make sure your Shower base is LEVEL. We tiled our shower walls, and set up our shower. A level, drill and screwdriver is all that was needed. Take your time and you can do this. We added a Shower system with body sprays and a hand held shower as well as the main shower. DELIGHTFUL!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking door, great features. I've installed 2 sets of these doors in the last 6 months & they are amazing! Not only do they look great but are very easy to install. The parts are all numbered & practically idiot proof, as in, you can't use the wrong part because it won't fit! I am very happy with this product in every way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality product! thank you dreamline I bought the enigma x 34 1/2 x 48 along with the matching dreamline low profile base. This is a great product. I was surprised at how good the quality of all the metal hardware is...heavy duty stuff! which is what you want when you have heavy moving glass panels. The install was strait forward, clear instructions. make sure your walls are plum! It definitely takes 2 experienced people to install this or 1 very experienced person and a dummy to lift & hold things. great job dreamline!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shower, no surprises I bought a Enigma X at Home Depot after chatting with Alissa here and had my carpenter and my tile guy make absolutely sure that the walls and floor were "plumb" (Alissa repeated that to me 8 times on the chat and phone call "It's frame-less, walls and floor HAVE to be plumb" ). All was done right and installing the shower was a charm, I needed the tile guy for drilling the ceramic for the brackets. We were 3 to install and set it, you have to be careful, it's heavy but we followed the clear instructions and took our time ( +/- 3 hours from unpacking to done). We are extremely pleased, it looks so good. The packaging was really well done all parts had numbers, etc.... The tube, wheels and almost every parts have micro-adjustment screws to make things leveled and tight.P. Samson Wilson, NC

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just What We Wanted Did a lot of looking before purchasing this shower door, and couldn't be happier with our decision. It was installed by our contractor, so I can't speak as to the difficulty (or ease) of installation, but it a beautiful and well built product that works great. The glass used is very heavy, but glides effortlessly and silently on its track. Looks great and word great. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Modern look! We ordered the shower enclosure and we love the modern look and the very nice quality of the enclosure. The glass is very heavy and the tracks are working well. We are very happy with our new enclosure! We had a little issue (not product related) and customer service handled it very fast and friendly. On top we saved a lot of money, because the price was very good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish and great design; sturdy I had purchased and had it installed when we renovated our master bathroom. We upgraded from a tiny standing shower base to this and did not look back again!

Which double threshold shower base model fits the Enigma-XO 56.375 x 60.375 enclosure, SHEN-6132602-06?

Asked by: Anonymous
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. DreamLine does not make a shower base to work with this enclosure at this time. We recommend that you purchase a double threshold shower base that measures 60" by 34" in size and that has at least a 2-3/4" threshold width. We have a 34" by 60" Enigma-XO that will work on our 36" by 60" double threshold shower base. The link to the enclosure is here: https://dreamline.com/shower-enclosures/enigma-xo-shower-enclosure_shen-6134602-06.html And the link to the base is here: https://dreamline.com/shower-bases/dreamline-slimline-double-threshold-shower-base_dlt-1036601.html If you have any other questions, please contact a DreamLine PreSales Consultant at 866.282.8413. What length of screws are used to attach the shower glass bracket?  I am specifically trying to determine the depth of tile and mortar I need in order to screw into my curb without penetrating the membrane.

Asked by: Chriss
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. The glass bracket for the stationary panel attaches to your wall. The only screw that will go into your curb will be the screw for the guide block, which is 1.6" (40mm) long. Hope this is helpful. Can this model be installed without installing the Anti-Splash Guard (#15), from stability point of view?

Asked by: Apple
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. Part #15 is not a piece that offers stability, but it does help to prevent water from coming out under the door. Some people do not install it. If you choose to not install it, we recommend that you not discard it as you may find that you have leaking under the door and will want to install it at a later time. It is a very easy piece to install after the fact. If you have any other questions, please contact a DreamLine PreSales Consultant at 866.282.8413. Can this be installed in a cordless shower? I see it starts minimum threshold of 2 3/4"

Asked by: Brett84
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. Yes, the Enigma-X can be installed on a curbless shower. You will want to make sure that you have the minimum threshold of 2-3/4" that is flat and will want to caulk well along the bottom, especially at any grout lines. If you have any other questions, please contact a DreamLine PreSales Consultant at 866.282.8413. We are available 9am-6pm EST, M-F and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. does the Dreamline XO sliding shower door have a guide strip or water dam on the bottom of the sliding door in the entrance to the shower? I am adamant about there not being a metal/plastic strip that I could accidentally step on when entering the shower.

Asked by: Mike S
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. The anti splash threshold piece at the bottom of the Enigma-XO is there to act as a dam to prevent water from leaking out. Should you opt not to install it, we recommend that you keep it in a safe place in the event that you do experience leaking from under the door. As long as your threshold is pitched inward, you should not experience leaking. If you have any other questions, please contact a DreamLine PreSales Consultant at 866.282.8413. What shower base will fit the Dreamline Enigma 34 1/2" x 44 3/8"

Asked by: JulieB34
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. The Engima-X shower enclosure is actually adjustable on the door side from 44" to 48-3/8" wide. If you have the space, we recommend our double threshold 48" by 36" shower base, model #DLT-1036481(left drain) or DLT-1036482(right drain). Both bases are available in white, biscuit or black.
