Unidoor Plus 59 - 66 1/2 Hinged Shower Door, 36 in. Buttress Panel Width is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Great I installed the door first and the stationary glass second, all as per instructions. The stationary glass ended up about 3/8" higher than the door. I think the threshold is not perfectly level thus raising the stationary glass. The good news is my wife didn't notice and is very happy. I was concerned about the 1" channels as I preferred a 100% frameless look but they are hardly noticeable. The package arrived with a chip in the glass and a bent channel. It was promptly replaced, no questioned asked. This is my second DreamLline shower to install and it saved a minimum of $1000 each when compared to a professional installation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Great Price If you are looking for shower doors, this is the place to come, I was very impressed with the variety of sizes for any custom fit! Shipping was just as promised and came with no scratches or broken pieces. I shopped around on the web and the prices on this website were some of the best! I bought these doors sight unseen and was a little anxious about buying these doors without being able to physically touch and see the product. Fortunately my trepidation was unfounded... I am so happy with the look and quality of my new shower doors and highly recommend this site for buying shower doors!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from SPA Quality Door I installed this door 7 months ago. It is holding up very well. Opens and closes easily. The gaskets are all intact. The hinges are heavy duty. I have had curtains, and sliding doors in the past, this is far superior. Luxury hotel look and feel. The hinge mounting screws are the only thing I had issues with. The heads off 2 screws snapped off during installation. Pilot holes are recommended. I would rate this a moderate to difficult self installation. Dreamline is very clear on this point. Handling pieces of glass this size and aligning the hinges are daunting for the first timer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Great! We love this shower door. Door is very heavy. Screws were not the best. We had to get additional screws. Since our opening was less than square due to the tile, we cannot use both water strips along the door and stationary door. We only placed the ware edge on the stationary door. It works, water does not leak out. We couldn't adjust it with the shims either. We've had the door for approx 3-4 months. We are happy with the door.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It! Have had the shower doors for several months and am enjoying them very much. Certainly beats fighting off a clingy shower curtain. Easy to clean, especially with a weegee. We installed this ourselves and had no trouble with instructions. However, just know it is very heavy and awkward. So be sure to have help when installing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just beautiful, makes my small bathroom look large We are thrilled with our new shower door. The shower is in a very small room with just the toilet, it can feel very cramped with a dark door or curtain on the shower. The clear glass makes the whole space feel much larger. The door and fixed piece are of very heavy glass, it has a real quality feel. Couldn't be happier!

I ordered the 59 1/2 to- 60” Unidoor Plus SHDR-24595721-06.  The final opening came out to 59 1/4” in my shower after tiling.  Will this still work, given that the opening is1/4” narrower than I had planned?

Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. Unfortunately, the door that you ordered will not work for your opening. It will simply be too big. DreamLine shower doors are sold to finished opening dimensions and we do not recommend ordering a door before your space is finished as estimates and finished spaces can vary greatly. Please contact the DreamLine Customer Support Team at 866.731.8378 to discuss this further. We are available 8am-6pm EST, Monday through Friday and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. my curb has a slight pitch towards the inside of the shower will this be a problem

Asked by: roonie
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. All shower bases have a slight pitch to the curb, usually about 3-5 degrees, and they work just fine with DreamLine shower doors. Is there a door sweep to keep water leakage from swing door?

Asked by: Denis
I wanted to add that the door sweep fits to form a true water seal in my installation. And so do the vertical door seals at both sides of the door--one on the door and one on the fixed panel. If you follow the installation instructions, the bottom sweep will rub tightly against the shower curb creating a good seal. The spacing required is achieved with 5/8 inch clear spacers that are on the door as shipped. Keep them in place during the marking of the hinge locations and everything works well.

The chrome buttons that cover the screw heads work fine in the hex head screws that hold the hinges together. They are impossible to push into the Phillips head screws that secure the hinges to the wall. They are not mentioned in the instructions.

I called Dreamline Support with the same question and was told that only the thin gasket was to be used on both sides. That worked fine for me. I was checking since I thought the others were probably for thinner glass (5/16 inch and 1/4 inch). If you have 3/8" glass then the thin gaskets should work just fine. I don't mean to override the manufacturer. I just wanted to pass along the answer I received by phone that worked well.

There are two different size hinge gaskets.  Instructions aren’t clear and only says to use a hinge gasket and tighten.  Which gasket?

Asked by: Momamyly
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. Please use the thicker set of gaskets making sure to use one gasket per side of the glass. As I installed the fixed panel of my Unidoor Plus, I wondered why you didn't supply a clear, tapered wedge gasket to hold it in place at least on one side like some other doors. That would provide nearly instant fixing of the panel in the correct position

Asked by: Engr4You
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. As you know, the Unidoor Plus stationary panel is designed to be installed with silicone caulk in the U-channel. The reason a gasket may not be used is because this panel is where the adjustability for the door is, how far in or out of the U-channel that the panel is positioned, and the silicone caulk provides the ability to adjust. I will certainly forward your suggestion to our R&D department, however. Thank you for choosing DreamLine and for your thoughtful suggestion.

Do any of these frameless models have an inswing or double swing door?

Asked by: Lisa S
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. The DreamLine Unidoor Family of shower doors now feature adjustable hinges, allowing you to choose if you would like the door to open inward or outward. The hinges come to you pre-set by the factory to open outward, which is the recommended position. Should you choose to adjust the hinge to open inward, you will need to change the orientation of the vinyl piece that the door closes against, installing the flange on the outside of the shower. Instructions will be included with the hinge for changing the orientation of the swing. A simple adjustment is all that it takes to allow the door to open inward. If you have any other questions, please contact a DreamLine PreSales Consultant at 866.282.8413. We are available 9am-6pm EST, Monday through Friday and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
