Infinity-Z Sliding Shower Door & Base is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 30.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Contemporary Look, Great Value We embarked on building a bathroom in our basement - a first for us. After exhaustive reading of shower door reviews, the Infinity-Z appeared to be the clear winner. A big part of our decision came from reading that customer support was readily available - this could be important for a DIY project. Not having previous experience to compare to, the installation went smoothly for us - no need to contact customer support. It was definitely a 2-person job for us novices. The finished product is a very attractive door that glides smoothly in it's track without any escape of water. We are very happy with our selection of this door.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just right enclosure I've had this unit installed for about a year now. It still looks good and was fairly easy to install. I needed a couple of the rollers replaced and they sent me out a complete kit to replace them all. The replacement parts looked better than the original. I would suspect that they have upgraded those parts which is a plus for this unit. I expect to have it in place for some time to come. I think anyone who buys this unit will be pleased with it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are perfect doors! We liked the look of hanging doors and these are quite stylish without overemphasizing the hardware. They give a modern or art deco look and feel to the shower and slide effortlessly and quietly. We have a tiny bathroom so the single slider left the stationary door beside a vanity with room for a hand towel on the outside towel rail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install I bought four of Dreamline products for my new home. They arrived well packaged, no breakage, and all the parts marked. The instructions are easy to follow although you may want two people to handle the glass panels particularly on the hinged doors because of the weight. I recommend Dream line highly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Great Purchased this shower door a few months ago and had a contractor install it. It looks and functions very well. We were missing two pieces when the door originally shipped (the box was pretty beat up in shipment), but the folks at DreamLine sent them for free when informed. Great customer service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome look! We purchased this door in January and love it. The only reason we give 4 stars instead of five is we felt the assembly instructions were a bit confusing. No matter though, in the end it came out B-E-A-Utiful!

How wide is the gap between the two panes of glass? Is it narrower than the Sapphire or Encore which seem huge?

Asked by: PeterBxyz
The Infinity-Z shower door only requires 1" of threshold space for the bottom rail, so the gap between the 2 pieces of glass is relatively narrow compared to the Sapphire and Encore models (less than 1"). Can I get a shower door72 inches wide

Asked by: Skylight specialist
Unfortunately, the Infinity-Z cannot be customized in any way and the maximum width that it is available in is 60". DreamLine has other models that will fit 72" and we invite you to contact our Pre Sales team at 866-282-8413 to discuss some options. My finished wall to wall opening is 42.75" width, should I buy this Infinity-Z 44-48" W x 72" H shower Door? If not, please show me the different door size and model. Thank you so much.

Asked by: NhuL
An opening of 42-3/4" will be too small for the 44-48" Infinity-Z model. At this width, your walk-in entry will likely be too small for an average size person to fit through comfortably. Unfortunately, DreamLine does not have any sliding door models that are designed for a 42-3/4" opening. We offer plenty of other styles for this width, just nothing with sliding doors. If you would like to discuss some options or if you have any other questions, we invite you to contact our DreamLine PreSales Consultants at 866-282-8413. I have purchased the Infinity-Z (SHDR-0960720-04) to install over a Mansfield Nextile shower panel. The 4.0 x 55 screws for attaching the vertical rails leave me approximately of 3/8 inch bite into a stud. Gap between stud and shower wall, your thoughts

DreamLine products are designed for installation to solid walls. If you have a void behind the acrylic wall, this is not a solid wall and we would recommend not proceeding with installation as installing any DreamLine product to this type of site condition will void the warranty. If you have any other questions, we invite you to contact our DreamLine PreSales Consultants at 866-282-8413. What is the width of the bottom rail of the dreamline infinity z sliding door?

Asked by: Larry65
The bottom rail for the Infinity-Z is 1" wide so to be able to properly install the bottom rail for the Infinity-Z, your threshold will need to be at least 1" wide (front-to-back). If you have any other questions, we invite you to contact our DreamLine PreSales Consultants at 866-282-8413. Hello, Would I go with 44-48 or 50-54 for a 49" opening?

Asked by: CSN86
You will not be able to use a 44-48" model because right out of the box, the rails will fit exactly 48" which will be too small for your 49" opening. You could, in theory, use the 50-54" model and cut the rails down to fit your 49" opening, however, you will have more overlap between the two pieces of glass and your walk-in entry will only be 17-3/8" wide if you cut it down to fit 49". If you have any other questions, we invite you to contact our DreamLine PreSales Consultants at 866-282-8413.
