Enigma Sliding Shower Door is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 4 out of 5 by RubyConstruct from Nice shower door for the $$I recently ordered this door for a project. I ordered it on a Friday and received it on Monday. I wasn't expecting such a responsive delivery time. The product itself was everything I expected based on the picture and description. The finish was excellent on the chrome pieces and the rollers glide very smoothly. This door has a very similar look to much more expensive doors.I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for the following reasons:The rail is not stiff enough, it deflects a bit as the weight of the door rolls across it.One of the bottom rollers could not be aligned to touch the rail so that it turned as the door moved, but the other roller did touch and would roll as the door moved. The mounting brackets for the rail were difficult to fine tune to exactly the right height due to their design. The installation instructions were for the 60 inch door which doesn't have the second smaller fixed panel. The track system at the bottom could use a redesign, it's very difficult to seal everything up so that water won't collect inside the track.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TVette from Beautiful DoorI am a kitchen and bath designer and we recently remodeled our own master bathroom. I purchased this shower door primarily because it was the only one I could find to fit the space without having to go to a custom order. I LOVE this door. It is beautiful. The ClearMax coating is wonderful. The door is easy to keep clean and clear. The rollers operate so smoothly. A couple of notes, it does require 2x6 blocking due to the weight of the doors. We did not install this door ourselves. We had our contractor install it and it took 3 guys. Not a do it yourself door unless you have some great friends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Larry and Karen from Two BathroomsMy wife and I purchased two shower doors from Dreamline. We are very happy with both installations. The directions which come with the unit are not very clear on how to install. I had intended on installing myself. It is a good thing a friend of mine is a professional installer. Both doors look great. One of the doors did have a small imperfection.

Rated 1 out of 5 by BL from The bottom track needs a redesignI have not found a way to keep water out of the track and it compromises the glass door. I'm on my second time uninstalling and trying to reseal the track. The track collects water, mold develops and breaks down any silicone seal applied over time. Dreamline needs to come up with a redesigned system to hold the glass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by City slicker from BeautifulThis is a solid, sturdy shower door. Looks beautiful!Just one word of caution - it takes up almost 4 inches of space in the shower. We have a 30 by 60 shower and with the door installed, we actually have a narrow 26 x 60 shower. Otherwise it's great glides smoothly and we love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Del922 from Excellent product highly recomendDoing a master bath remodel and saw this door at Home Depot. We liked how the hardware looked in our modern design. Install went very easily, only hint is leave the corner protectors on as long as you can when setting the doors and get a few strong friends to help!
Is the glass Clear or Ultra Clear with no green tint to it?
Asked by: Mike1215
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. The greenish tint that is inherent in glass is caused by the amount of iron ore used in the production of the glass. DreamLine stock products are produced with glass that does use iron ore in the production. The greenish tint is most evident when you are looking directly at the edge of the glass. Many DreamLine models can be produced in low iron glass by working with your retailer and DreamLine's Custom Glass Group. Your retailer will need to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your finished dimensions and specifications. Our Custom Glass Group will return a quote to your retailer within 1-2 business days for you to consider.
We invite you to contact a DreamLine PreSales Consultant at 866-282-8413 to discuss this further. We can also be reached by sending an email to email@example.com and through our Chat with Expert feature on DreamLine.com. Our hours of operation are 9am-6pm EST, Monday through Friday.

Can you install the Enigma without the bottom rail? We have a curb less shower with linear drain and want to avoid the threshold rail.
Asked by: Ben L
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. You cannot install the Enigma without the bottom rail, and doing so will void your warranty on the product and will compromise the installation.

Is the top rail a solid rod?
Asked by: Donna13
Thank you for your interest in DreamLine Shower Doors!
The upper guide rail for the Enigma is not a solid rod. It is a thick wall but is hallow not solid.

Asked by: Chris T
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. Unfortunately, DreamLine does not sell direct to the consumer, so you will not find pricing on our website. Just had a Dreamline Enigma shower door installed in our guest bath. What is the best way to clean the glass prior to its first use. We like Invisible Glass cleaner. Is this okay to use with your product?
Asked by: Dawg1
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. DreamLine does not recommend the use of products with ammonia or anything harsh or abrasive to clean our shower doors. We recommend mild dish soap and warm water for cleaning.

My shower wall opening is 77 inches so I will build out from both sides to bring it to within the 72 inches maximum for this shower door. Can you please tell me the exact maximum rough and/or finished opening measurements for this door? Thank you.
Asked by: Henry
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. DreamLine shower doors are only sold to finished, tile-to-tile dimensions. Your maximum finished dimension for this model of the Enigma shower door is 72". We recommend this model be installed to an opening 68" to 72" wide. Please keep in mind that your walls must be perfectly plumb, your base must be level, and you should have double studs or wood blocking between studs where the guide rail brackets will be installed. Hope this is helpful.

I am interested in an ENIGMA (not ENIGMA X) shower enclosure. Is the smallest door 56 inches? That would be fine, but what is the largest side panel available? Your brochure says 36 inches, but is 48 inch available?
Asked by: StevePert
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. The 60" Enigma shower door can be adjusted down to 56". Unfortunately, the largest return panel is the 36" that is included in our stock kit. If you would like a 48" return, panel, you would need to work with your retailer and DreamLine's Custom Glass Group to facilitate that. You will need to work with your retailer and have them submit an email to email@example.com with your finished dimensions and shower door requirements. DreamLine's Custom Glass Group will return a quote within 1-2 business days for you to view.
