Charisma Bypass Sliding Shower Door is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by SueB from Great Custer Service!I ordered a shower door and base through a big box store and picked it up at the local store. When I opened the boxes there was no hardware. The store couldn't locate the missing parts. I called Dreamline Customer Service and they immediately placed an order to have the hardware sent directly to me even though the original order came through the box store's warehouse. Many thanks to very courteous and responsive team! Haven't performed the installation yet so can't rate the actual product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mike in Kennett Square PA from Beautiful doors for exactly plumb spaces onlyOne warning: Make sure that you’re NEW remodeled bath is plumb - NOT your current bath. I made that mistake, an it’s a big problem. I should have realized that the design of these very beautiful doors is absurd: there is ZERO plumb adjustment on these. I will eventually find the appropriate clear polycarbonate side bumper that will prevent water from splashing onto the bathroom floor, but in the meantime I cannot close the project. Don’t horse around, look at other doors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Maraz Tile from Custom door lookI’ve worked with Dreamline doors for many years and always recommend it to my customers. They offer a custom door look without the custom door price which makes it a great value. ICustomer support is excellent!! I recently had a mishap with one of the glass panels and it was damaged! Dreamline sent out a new panel under warranty and free shipping even after I explained that it was my fault! I highly recommend them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Whiz from Like the quality, as well as the priceI have had this installed for about one month. So far no issues. The only minor comment is when you go to apply the plastic glass bumpers, I had to cut mine as the over shoot the class by about an inch. Hence Seems they should come pre cut to fit the class exactly and instructions given to apply the bumpee to the top of the glass, so the doors can close with out to much resistance in the bottom glass guides.

Rated 1 out of 5 by santorek from Don't buy this doorThis is not an ordinary shower door as it has no side rails. The bottom rail is mounted with only silicone caulk and requires a day to dry before completing the install. The caulk is the only thing holding it in place because there are no side rails. The top rail that supports the weight of these heavy glass doors is only supported by a couple of brackets with molly screws. The weight is not supported by side rails because there aren't any.The glass doors are not truley frameless and have plastic bumpers that slide over the vertical edges to bump against the tile because there are no side rails. Unless you have perfectly plumb walls, the door cannot be adjusted to make contact along the tile. The minor cam adjustment screw is completely inadequate. Water spray will leak through this gap because there are no side rails.Lastly, the heavy glass was very difficult to hang on the rollers because the bolt has to be lined up and threaded while the glass is held in place.Did i mention there are no side rails with this door.

My shower opening is 54 inches. Would this work and still look good? How much is the overlap?
Asked by: Greg H
The minimum width for this model is 56" and we do not recommend cutting this down to fit a 54" opening as doing so will cause the glass to overlap too much and it will not look cosmetically correct or aesthetically pleasing. You will also have a smaller walk-in entry as a result. We recommend considering other models that are designed to fit your opening width. We have an acrylic shower stall manufactured by HAAS which has an opening of 45 1/2" with a threshold of just over 2 inches in the center an gets wider toward each side. It appears that your "Charisma" model with two sliding glass doors may fit my needs.
Asked by: Chet 86
DreamLine shower doors should not be installed into an acrylic/fiberglass shower surround as doing so will completely void the warranty and could compromise the product. DreamLine shower doors require...
1)Solid walls (acryilc/fiberglass surrounds have a hollow void behind the plastic wall)
2) Walls that stand at least as tall as the shower door (most acrylic/fiberglass surrounds have walls shorter than our shower doors and the doors would stick up above the walls which can be very unsafe)
3) True 90-degree angles in the bottom corners of the opening where the walls meet the threshold (acrylic/fiberglass surrounds have a curve or radius in the bottom corners)
If your site conditions do not meet the requirements for a DreamLine shower door, then we do not recommend that you purchase and attempt to install any of our shower door products. I'm looking for the type that has a finger hole in each sliding door with no handles. Do you have anything like that?
Asked by: gcgg
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. We currently do not offer any of our doors with the finger hole in the panel. This may be something that our Custom Glass Group could do, depending on the thickness of the glass and the model that you choose.
We invite you to reach out to our DreamLine's Custom Glass Group by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for considering DreamLine.

Could you please list the walk through opening height of the Charisma, Encore and Essence doors? The distance from the bottom of the door, or the threshold of the base to the support bar. That should be listed in the walk through opening size. Thanks
Asked by: mtinode
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. No problem at all! The Charisma access height is 73-11/16" tall. The Encore access height is 74" tall. The Essence access height is 71-11/16" tall. Hope this information is helpful. I have noted your recommendation and forwarded it to our R&D team. Thank you!

I have a customer with a 64” opening. Do u have a system that will work?
Asked by: Kevin99
Thank you for your interest in DreamLine Shower Doors!
In our core product line, the largest finished opening width that the Charisma will fit is 56"-60". This model is customizable but due to hardware restrictions, this model cannot be customized for a 64" finished opening width.
Again, thank you for contacting DreamLine Shower Doors!
