SlimLine Single Threshold Shower Base is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as expected. This shower base worked as expected. No complaints from my installer. It does NOT flex when you stand on it and needed no additional support. It has a nice texture under your feet which also seems easy to clean.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for This base is not structural and relies heavily on the bed you set it in.You will not be able to set his base in regular cement of any kind or consisity. Make sure you use a Lightweight Bedding Mortar.Like: CustomFloat Bedding Mortar. Many use STRUCTO-LITE Basecoat Plaster. Dried product is 15% lighter than water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Construction Question : "Benny" commented, "You DO NOT have to use Mortar/Plaster". Then why does the Dreamline "Installation Guide" show the "Cut-Away" View mentioning Mortar/Plaster ?? I nailed mine to the Studs and have moved on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shower base I bought this base for a tub to shower conversion. The contractor had no issues with the base installation, and so far it has functioned very well. This was installed on a slab, and the contractor filled the void under the base with with concrete to insure stability. The texture improves stability, and the low threshold is great. It has only been installed for a few months, and I hope it will last for many years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Be really careful. Drain hole isn't actually centered While the overall quality of this pan seems great, we can't use it because we failed to notice that the drain hole isn't centered front to back. So if your shower head is on either the left or right wall, when you're standing in the shower, the drain is going to look wrong. Our pan is going back and we'll have to find a different one where the drain is centered both directions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well built and packaged! This pan looks great! I was very fairly priced and came in packaged to withstand a tornado. After ordering it, I downloaded the dimensions so I could start my plumbing work. The spec sheet says 24" X 15", so I roughed in the PVC. When it got here, I was glad that I did not glue the pieces because the actual dimensions were 24" X 15 3/8". Very happy with the quality though!

I am looking for an alcove shower base, 32 inches long and 54 inches wide (entry into shower would be on the 32 inch side). Is it possible to find this configuration?

Asked by: Courtney35
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. We do not currently make a shower base with the threshold on the shorter side and do not recommend modifying any of our bases for that type of installation. Does this absolutely have to be used as an alcove install? I'd like to use this an a corner unit.

Asked by: rebecca25
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. This base cannot be used as a corner configuration because the exposed side is not finished and has a flange on it that is designed to be installed to studs. Center Drain Single Threshold Shower Base in White; Model: DLT-1136600. WHAT ARE THE REQUIRED RUFF-IN DEMISIONS?

Asked by: BB1073
Thank for reaching out to DreamLine. This shower base requires a 36" by 60" opening from the studs. Those are to the stud dimensions. You can view the technical drawing lower down on the page for the base. This will outline the drain location, also. Can I remove my dreanline shower pan and replace it with a new one without removing any wall tiles in my shower

Asked by: Pressmen1
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. You may need the first row of tiles removed to install the DreamLine SlimLine base due to it being required to be installed directly to the studs in the wall. DreamLine would recommend to confirm this with your contractor. If you have any other questions, please contact the DreamLine Customer Support Team at 866.731.8378. We are available 8am-6pm EST, Monday through Friday and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Hello, I need to replace an old 34x48 (or 32x48) shower base. But the drain location is 9" (to the faucet wall) and 17.5" (to the back wall). Can I use your shower base? Thanks

Asked by: HenryY
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. The single threshold 32''x48'' and 34''x48'' bases are only available in the drain location 15'' from the back flange towards the front threshold and 24'' from the left/back flange to the right. This would not fit a 9''x 17-1/2'' drain location. If you have any other questions, please contact a DreamLine PreSales Consultant at 866.282.8413. We are available 9am-6pm EST, M-F and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. You may also send an email to support@dreamline.com or use our “Chat with Expert” feature on DreamLine.com.
