The finish was the main setback, brushed stainless steel on the wall channel & the handle was not good at all.Hinges were fair, although make sure you do not try to open the door inwards into the shower/ tub. the glass will surely break at the hinges. glass feels too light. I can compair to the other one which we bought from another company which is not as wide but better in quality. overall the product is OK would I buy the same if I had another renovation project NO...only thing is for th price its better than the shower curtains.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bodger from Great product excellent value I remodeled our family bathroom and was going for a sleek European look. The hinged shower splash guard and door was the prefect finish to the tub shower.I thought that the thickness of the glass might be a problem but when all assembled it has enough"strength". Please make sure that you have help when installing and to take time in making sure it is all level. I did a dry fit prior to having the tub refinished - which was a great idea and my wife and I installed the door in about an hour when the tub was finished.

We, admittedly, looked very closely at competitive products that had nice attributes and features but when we filtered it down...the DL price point was hard to beat. Personally, we saved a significant amount by purchasing the DreamLine system that met our requirements. There are features I would recommend be re-evalauted but, overall, a very functional and aesthetic tub/shower surround. Installation itself...should not be handled by "amateurs"...but rather qualified people who follow the manufacturer's recommendations for proper installation.I

The water doesn't splash out on the floor. We recently had guests and they liked it also. We have already recommended it to our grandson as he and his wife have a new house and need a shower door. The man who installed it said it took a little longer than he thought but he did it by himself and it looks great.

And while this door IS very aesthetically pleasing and of good quality glass, due to the door not extending all the way to the other end of the tub, water leaks out after every shower, leaving me with a puddle to clean up. I'm not talking a few drops; I mean a small puddle. I tend to take longer showers so the water pools along the vinyl sweep, that plastic piece that extends across the bottom of the door that hinges, and then eventually trickles out to my bathroom floor. And when I open the door to get out of the shower, the water that had gathered along the vinyl sweep also leaks out. I regret this purchase. Do no recommend!

I just had these doors installed and love them. Can I buy the extender panel separate? I should have had it to begin with for reinforcement but liked the open look.

What is the Support Arm... "Stationary panel requires a Support Arm for additional stability"? Do you have any other installers near Walnut Creek, CA? I'm not having much luck with the ones listed - 'Find an Installer.' Thank you

It clips onto the top edge of the glass and then connects to the adjacent wall to support the stationary panel.
