Rated 1 out of 5 by M S from Don't just walk, but Run away from this product Final product looks nothing like the picture. Walls are flimsy and meant to be glued over an existing surface. Walls are then held in place with metal tracks that are held in place with wall anchors and screws. Anyone that has used wall anchors knows that they do not always work, and that they can spin when you're trying to insert the screw. Therefore, the installation process becomes super annoying/frustrating when you have 21 wall anchors to install for this product and some fail. Glass shelves are the best part of the product, but far from worth the price and quality of the overall product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by amester12 from Great Price and Quality This was a great purchase! We had an undersized tub and wanted to add a shower. It was very difficult to find a shower wall that would fit. These walls are trim to size, making customizing easy. I was also very impressed with the quality of the shower wall. Great price, great product!

what is qwall
QWALL is the model series name for all of DreamLine's trim-to-fit glue-to-backer board acrylic wall systems (i.e. QWALL-5, QWALL-VS, QWALL-Tub, etc.). Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

How deep is the tub (not front to back but floor to the top of the tub portion)?
We apologize for any confusion, but this product does not include a tub. This product is just the acrylic wall surround. DreamLine does not currently offer any alcove tubs, but the QWALL products will be compatible with many alcove tubs on the market that are also compatible with tile walls.

My tub spout pipe located very close to the large square patten part on the panel. Required holes for the spout is 1.5", but the actual covering plates has dia. 3.5" (to be sealed against panel). Any recommendations on how to make this sealed? Please...

Can this be cut down to 27in x 54in or do you offer anything that could?
Unfortunately, this specific QWALL model cannot be cut down to 54" because you would be cutting into the raised decorative "pencil" tile pattern, however, we do offer an all-new QWALL product that can be. The all-new QWALL-VS model # SHBW-1560620-00 can be trimmed to fit smaller tub openings because the vertical subway tile pattern is consistent throughout the entire design and you won't be cutting into any sort of raised pattern on the panels.

Can you safely add a grab bar

You can treat DreamLine QWALL acrylic walls like any other finished wall treatment and cut holes for fixtures, secure grab bars, etc. DreamLine does not make grab bars nor can we advise on how to install one made by another manufacturer, so you will want to find one you want first, read the requirements for installation, and see what type of support will be needed behind the walls before installing backer board and then the QWALL system. The QWALL system is essentially a cheaper and faster alternative to tile (which is also installed to solid walls). Can the backwall be cut so the walls can be installed in a shower with a window?
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. The manual for the acrylic back walls only has instructions for cutting the panels to the proper size to fit a standard opening with flat walls. You can make cut-outs for a window, however, DreamLine does not offer any instructions for making this type of cut-out nor do we provide any sort of decorative edge molding to cover the cut edges of the window cut-out.
