Rated 5 out of 5 by ssvashon5 from Excellent product I put the enigma x 2 wall shower door system in our fully remodeled master bath. The job was probably my biggest renovation challenge except our kitchen, and the DreamLine shower door system is one of the highlight features. It is very well made. A little intimidating and you must follow the instructions as others mention. Also, as the instructions say, make sure yours and floor are plumb and level. I think I read the instructions 10 times before starting, but it was worth it. Th hardware is top grade, and there are no short cuts, or cheap materials. I would buy this product again. I am not professional contractor but I am comfortable with most DIY.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nikki from Modern looking and EXCELLENT customer service Installed Enigma-X shower doors in my guest bathroom. The doors are sleek looking and glide very smoothly. More than a year later, a guest told us there is water sipping under the movable door. I sent photos and videos of the problem to Dreamline customer service, as requested. I was told my door is missing a couple of parts. Somehow my professional installer did not notice this when it is clearly stated in the provided manual. Dreamline sent me the missing parts free! This awesome customer service convinced me to do business with them again. I just ordered Dreamline Essence tub doors for my next bathroom renovation. Looking forward to another beautiful bathroom. Keep up the excellent customer service!

Rated 4 out of 5 by WISH NOT TO RESPOND from DREAMLINE ENIGMA X SHOWER DOOR I purchased two doors for the renovation of my bathrooms. The quality of merchandise purchased is unsurpassed. I am really enjoying the installed door. I may have overlooked some information about installation because the Dreamline product came highly recommended by my daughter and also by a friend. I did not know the difficulty I would encounter to get them installed. Had I known, I would have investigated further to learn who would be able to install for me, since I am not able to complete installation myself, as well as, the cost for a professional installation. I am still awaiting the completed installation of the second door due to glass storm damage in the area where a professional is needed for repairs.

I had seen a door similar to this in a very high end bathroom fixtures showroom and was on a mission to find something like it that I could afford. A friend told me about DreamLine, saying she had seen a door at her sister's house. I looked them up and ordered the door through my local HD. Could not be happier. Had a local contractor install it. He wasn't sure he could, but when he had questions about cutting the upper rail we called the Customer Support phone number on the front of the manual. Question answered and we were on our way to a really cool looking shower door!

I contacted Home Depot (the location I purchased my shower) and they informed me they dont sell the wheels but I would have to contact Dreamline customer service. I spoke with a very pleasant lady who found my order within 30 seconds. She informed me that I was still under warranty and informed me that I would receive 4 new wheels to replace the broken one and 3 additional to have just in case! That is some service! Very happy that it arrived quickly with tracking information!

Rated 5 out of 5 by profitter from Professional Grade I am a do it yourselfer with an eye for perfection. This product is by far the best shower door I have seen. The packaging was done with care. All the items are of high grade stainless steel and the instructions were spot on. I will stress however, that during the tile installation, it is very important to plumb the wall tiles and make sure they are square with the threshold (shower) floor. I would highly recommend this product and am very satisfied with the installation. The Enigma SHDR-61607610-07 shower door is the focal point of the bathroom.

Our contractor we hired had no issues with the installation...about 2 hours install. He was also very impressed with the quality. I also want to share I just completed an on-line chat because after installation, we discovered we were missing a bottom splash guard. Within two minutes, the rep had my contact information and is mailing the missing piece at no additional charge. My guess when I purchased from Lowes and shipped, the box was damaged due to the weight of nearly 200 lbs...so I believe this narrow part slipped through the hole. No damage was found on the actual product...glass and hardware. In short, I highly recommend this product and service from DreamLine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by The Fireman from Really Good Allow at least a couple of hours to read and re-read the instructions and locate all the parts (small pieces were in individually numbered boxes). The instructions we got were barely legible (very light) so I ran them to PhotoShop to enhance. It took my contractor about a day and a half to install properly but he had made sure all the walls were plumb and square and had installed blocking in all the proper places. All in all, the result was fantastic, the door glides effortlessly and the glass just needs to be squeegeed after showering.

My wall width is only 55in. Will the 56-60 inch enigma-x fit?
Technically, you could cut the top rail shorter to fit a 55" finished opening, but please understand that you will have more overlap between the 2 pieces of glass in the center when the door is closed and you will also have a narrower walk-in entry as a result. Does this sliding glass frameless door have bypass capabilities. In order words can you get it to open on both doors?
Unfortunately, no - the Enigma-X does not have "bypass" capabilities. The Enigma-X will be configured as a sliding door with an inline stationary panel. Bypass sliding shower doors by DreamLine will all say the word "bypass" in the description (i.e. DreamLine Sapphire bypass sliding shower door). Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

What is the height of the handle? From the threshold to the bottom of the handle?

Is the threshold depth the height of the threshold or are you referring to the actual depth it extends into the shower?
The 2-3/4" threshold depth requirement for the Enigma-XO shower door is referring to the required space on your threshold to be able to secure the bottom guide block so that the entire block fits on the threshold and so that none of it hangs over the edge of the curbs of the shower base. Can this be used with a finished opening of 60 1/4"?
Unfortunately, no - none of the stock Enigma-X model sizes will fit a finished opening that is 60-1/4" wide, but this model could be customized to fit that width. To get a quote for custom glass, please go to your preferred local retailer that sells DreamLine products and have a rep from the store email all your specifications and dimensions over to our Custom Glass Team to request a quote. The top of my fiberglass shower frame side walls are 73". I can only adhere the top bar into the studs above this level. Is the top bar screwed into the frame higher than the 73" mark?
DreamLine shower doors are not designed for installation into molded acrylic/fiberglass shower surrounds and any installation of a DreamLine shower door into this type of opening will completely and immediately void the warranty on the product. All DreamLine shower doors require solid finished walls (no pocket of dead space behind the wall), true 90-degree angles in the bottom corners (corners cannot have a curve or radius), and finished walls that are at least as tall as the shower door (so that none of the glass or hardware will stick up above the walls). Based on the description of your opening, the Enigma-X shower door will unfortunately not be suitable for your space.
