My shower opening measures a consistent 58" top to bottom. I'm confused as to what width Unidoor to order. Should I go under or over? I would have thought 57.5 to 58 but don't see that available. You have 58 to 58.5. Just want to make sure.

Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. If your measurements are 58" at the top, middle and bottom, we would recommend the Unidoor Plus in the 58-58-1/2" model (#SHDR-245807210). If you are under 58" at any point, then the 57-1/2 to 58" model would be the way to go.

My shower opening measures 58 5/8" at the bottom and 58" at the top. I believe the difference is spread evenly in both walls (e.g., their both out a bit). Can the Unidoor-X 58-58 1/2 be used here? If not, is there a better model in brushed nickel?

John, the Unidoor-X only has the ability to adjust within the size range. Your measurement of 58-5/8" places you out of the size range for a Unidoor-X, unfortunately. Your measurements span 2 size ranges for this door. A regular Unidoor would work well for you, however, because it gives the ability to adjust within a full 1" size range span. We would recommend the Unidoor (SHDR-20587210-04). It will fit an opening 58" to 59" wide. If you have any other questions, please contact the DreamLine Customer Support Team at 866.731.2244.
