The glass is thick and super heavy, not cheap thin glass you typically see. Installation wasnt bad at all. we have a fiber glass enclosure and even though the glass is taller than the shower it looks just fine. We will definitely buy again when we remodel the downstairs bathroom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeanie from Beautiful, well designed, good directionsWe took out our tub and replaced it with a shower. Our tile pro installed the Dreamline Mirage-X by himself. It took him about 4.5 to 5 hours. He said it was heavy and a challenge because of the weight but the directions were clear and every piece was identified. The design is elegant. It is all easy to clean, especially the glass. We would definitely buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ashwee716 from Perfect Shower DoorsI bought these shower doors specifically because my walls were out of plumb and these doors are adjustable just for that. They are very beautiful doors and the installation was very easy. They are very easy to keep clean and they slide great. Sliding glass doors have come a long way since the old ones and these are just great all the way around.
The glass doors had ClearMax stickers on each door. I did not see this feature in the online descriptions and did not realize it was a standard feature. Can you tell me the features of ClearMax? What is the maintenance required for ClearMax?

The ClearMax coating helps to prevent the buildup of soap scum and water spots. As with all DreamLine shower doors, the best way to keep your shower door clear is to remove the water with a soft cloth or squeegee after showering. We recommend cleaning with a solution of mild liquid dish soap and warm water, rinsing and drying the panels well. I have a Mirage-X shower door and when it is fully closed there is an approximate 3-4" overlap between the fixed door and the sliding door. How can I clean that section?

we currently has a shower head on the left hand side and would like to order a sliding shower door that slides from the right? because our toilet is located on the same side of the shower head? is this going to be a problem?

This is a great question and a situation that many customers have. The optimum situation is for the moving panel to be on the same side as your shower head since this keeps the water stream from your shower head from being directed at the overlap. Since your situation does not allow this, you may want to consider a bypass sliding shower door, which allows for both panels to move.
