Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Awesome This was a replacement door for a framed shower door and was part of a bath renovation. I am not a contractor or home builder but very handy with doing home stuff. I decided rather than paying someone to get and install the door I would do it myself. Along with my son-in-law, we installed in a little over an hour, and that included drilling into tile. The door and hinges are exquisite and completely changed the way the shower entrance looks. Good instructions, great packing. This is a two person job! Follow the instructions to the letter and you can't go wrong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Frameless shower doors are superb I'm a historic property developer and often restore large historic building into lofts or other adaptive reuses. About a year and a half ago I purchased 4 frameless glass door units. The design, engineering and quality is superb. I was having a bit of trouble a year later getting the beefy clear plastic door stop to stay adhered to the subway tile on the jamb. I called for advise and they brainstormed the perfect solution and sent me four new strips just in case I needed them. Great product, great service, great company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really an Excellent Glass Shower Door I bought this 26" X 72" glass shower door for my recent master bath remodel. The door arrived in perfect condition and I actually installed it by myself. I would not recommend a one person install because the door is very heavy and bulky to handle by yourself. You must be very careful not to even "tap" the door on any hard object, like the tilework or floor. It installed just perfectly though, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Along with the custom cabinets I also installed, this door really makes the bathroom look very modern and clean. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase any products this company makes, the diminsions noted by the purchase order were exact and the instructions for the installation were very clear and precise. This company makes a quality product, it will not disappoint you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Quality Product I purchased one of these doors for one of my two showers a few years ago and was so impressed with it that I recently purchased another one for my other shower. The hinges and glass are both top quality and I found it fairly easy to install myself although I did need someone to hold it for me while I screwed it to the wall. The doors add a touch of class to my showers and guests have commented on how they wish they had doors like mine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect door I give the door quality of glass, hinges and handle an "A". I give myself a "B+" on the installation, My door is about 1/8" out of plumb, I needed two use two spacers on the bottom hinge and didn't realize it until I after I had everything completed. The only thing I would change on the hardware is the inside of the handle. I wish it was more than just the small knob.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful unit! I bought the 24" unit to replace an older aluminum-framed shower door. The new unit has totally transformed the appearance of my shower. Directions were excellent and installation was very simple. I made two contacts with customer service before and after installation, and received immediate, courteous responses. The one problem I ran into (not the fault of the product) was that my shower entrance had a slightly rippled ceramic tile. When I installed the plastic trim that seals against the shower door when closed, it did not adhere for more than a few days, and then would begin to separate from the wall. This was obviously caused due to not having a completely smooth surface for the trim to adhere to. I tried a strong clear adhesive, to no avail, and eventually solved the problem by using a combination of the adhesive with several stainless flat-headed screws spaced along the trim piece. Still looks good and and has solved the problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Door closure is adjustable Got the door installed, but it wouldn't stay closed (centered on the threshold). I read the instructions that came with the door, then had my contractor come back and make adjustments that are contained in the installation and use instructions, and now the door works beautifully.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Door The door and related components [hinges, etc.] are very well made. The installation instructions were complete and easy to follow. Everything went together the way it was supposed to. What else can I say?

My contractor installed 23" clear, hinged, unframed shower door. However, I noticed that the name Dreamline is etched in the glass but on my door it is upside down, on the inside upper right corner of the door. What did he do wrong?

Asked by: combslc
Your contractor did not do anything wrong, he just installed the panel with the stamp on the top, rather than on the bottom. The door can be removed from the hinge and flipped so that the stamp is on the bottom. In order to get a better fit, what if I tile the hinged-edge of the opening, install the Unidoor30, then tile the handle-edge using whatever shimming is necessary to get a nice fit.  Why would this not work?

Asked by: CharlesLloyd
Charles, it has been our experience that it is much easier to purchase a shower door to fit your opening than it is to build an opening to fit a particular shower door. DreamLine shower doors are sold to finished, tile-to-tile opening measurements. When constructing your shower opening, there are so many variables. What if your walls end up not being plumb? What if your tiles have some slight variances in thickness? What if you put a little too much mortar behind the tiles when installing them? All of these factors can affect your finished measurements. DreamLine's Customer Support Team receives phone calls every day from customers that ordered their shower door before the opening is finished. Purchasing the shower door first and building to fit it rarely works. We recommend that if you have the 30" Unidoor, build your opening and shoot for a finished opening measurement of 30" to 30-1/8" max. Make sure that your opening is not less than 30" at any point. In theory, your method of construction and installation could work, but it is not one that we would recommend. If you have any other questions or would like to discuss this further.please contact the DreamLine Customer Support Team at 866.731.2244. We are available 8am-7pm EST, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays from 9am to 5pm EST and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. You may also send an email to support@dreamline.com. What should be the tiled to tile opening size for a 24" unidoor shower door.

Asked by: J2sh
Great question. The tile to tile opening for a 24" Unidoor Shower Door must be 24" to a maximum of 24-1/8" wide. You cannot be under 24" at any point. Keep in mind that your walls should be plumb and your base should be level. Hope this helps. My opening from tile to tile is 23 3/4 inches would the 24 in door fit there? Not sure how plum the opening is.

Asked by: James 82
Great question James! Unfortunately, the 24" Unidoor Shower Door is too large for your 23-3/4" opening and the 23" Unidoor Shower Door is too small. DreamLine does have a Custom Glass Group that can work with your and your retailer to make the perfect sized shower door for your opening. Please have your retailer submit a drawing with specific measurements and requirements to customglass@dreamline.com. What is finished opening size for shdr-20277210f?

Asked by: bill669
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLIne, bill669! The finished, tile-to-tile opening that you need for the Unidoor Shower Door you have referenced is 27" at the top, middle, and bottom of your opening. This is a completely frameless model and has no ability to adjust for any other width or out of plumb conditions. Hope this helps.
