What is the width of siderails for the Mirage and the Infinity Z bathtub doors
Asked by: Wanda
Great questions. The Mirage does not have any siderails. The Mirage-X has a u-channel that the stationary panel installs into and the reveal of that is 1". The uchannel itself is appx. 7/16" deep. The Infinity-Z side rails are 1-1/2" deep and the reveail on the out side of the shower is appx. 1-3/4" per side. Hope this helps. Can the Infinity-Z be mounted to the bathtub fiberglass side walls?
The instructions keep referring to "Finished" walls.
Asked by: Carlos83
Great question, Carlos83! All DreamLine shower doors and enclosures require smooth, solid finished walls, 90-degree angles where the wall meets the threshold and finished walls that are at least as tall as the shower door or enclosure. If the walls of your enclosure have any give or flex to them when you push on the wall, most likely there is a pocket of dead space behind the wall and the wall is not solid. Please make sure that your shower meets the requirements for installation before making your choice. If you have any other questions or would like to discuss this further, please contact the DreamLine Customer Support Team at 866.731.2244. We are available 8am-7pm EST, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays from 9am to 5pm EST and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
