Rated 4 out of 5 by Donna from Love the modern look!My husband remodels homes. He installed it earlier this year in our home. We love the look and functionality. I will tell prospective buyers though that there is absolutely no way to make it leak proof. Some water will get on the floor from the hinged area. It isn't problematic for us. We simply place an absorbent towel on the floor. Care must be taken to prevent mildew around the bottom of the hinged door where the stripping meets the tub. Again, not problematic just know to be aware and use some Clorox periodically to clean around it. Because of the weight of the door, two strong people are needed for installation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ralph S from Instals and works as advertised.I bought this unit 4 months ago and am very satisfied with it so far. I had it installed professionally. The quality is very good and it looks more expensive than the actual cost. The door is rigid, solid and the door swings with no movement at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Phyl from AquaLux Tub DoorDoes the job, no water escape at all, but did have it fitted by a contractor. Adds clean lines and maintains the feeling of openness in a small narrow bathroom. Only wish the chrome finish was polished to match my shower/tap fittings.

Do you know where we can find a tub similar to the picture above to get the same look?
Asked by: nrllcm
Thank you for your question! The tubs and plumbing fixtures in DreamLine photos are not actual fixtures and tubs, but graphic representations of such. You may want to consult a local plumbing supply house in your area for fixtures similar to those in our photos. Hope this helps. If you have any other questions or would like to discuss this further, please contact the DreamLine Customer Support Team at 866-731-2244 or via email at email@example.com. We are available 8am-7pm EST, Monday through Friday and Saturday from 9am-5pm EST. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

Hi, After my contractor installed this door, a substantial amount of water is leaking between the door and the fixed glass. Probably mostly near the hinges. Is this a common problem with this door? How do I remedy this?
Asked by: Larry
Thank you for contact DreamLIne! Leaking between the two panels is not an issue with the AquaLux door. There are several factors that could be contributing to your leaking issue. Is the vinyl strip installed that covers this area? Is your shower head angled towards the door? Does it leak under normal showering or when you point a handheld shower at it? We urge you to contact DreamLine Customer Support at 866-731-2244 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss this further. We are available Monday through Friday from 8am-7pm EST and Saturday from 9am-pm EST. It would be helpful if you could take some photos of your installation and email them to us. We would need one photo from as far back as you can go to get the entire door, as it is installed now. Additional photos that would be helpful are of the area where the leaking is occurring. The more photos, the better! Please email those to email@example.com. Our technicians will look at the photos and determine what needs to be done to stop this from happening. We look forward to helping you with this!

Does installation require that the glass hardware be mounted into a stud behind the wall or tile? I have a vent pipe directly behind the edge of my tube that would need to be moved in order to install a stud, if that is required.
Asked by: jonthrasher
Thank you for your inquiry! While studs are always preferable, this door can absolutely be installed into finished walls with the wall anchors that are provided. If you have any other questions, please contact the DreamLine Customer Support Team at 866.731.2244. We are available 8am-7pm EST, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays from 9am to 5pm EST and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
