Rated 5 out of 5 by Hampton from BeautifulInstalled one year ago and we love it. Looks beautiful, easy to clean, everything works well. Installation was a bit tricky.
Does the Charisma Bypass have the Clearmax coating? If so I don’t understand why I get a mineral build up.
Asked by: Junior
Thank you for your question. Yes, the DreamLine Charisma Shower Door does have ClearMax protective coating. Although, there is a protective coating the door still needs to be cleaned and maintained for best results. DreamLine recommends to squeegee after each shower use and dry with a soft cloth. Also, cleaning the glass with a mild dish soap and warm water will help.

I'm interested in using the Charisma for a cast iron enameled Kohler Villager tub. Does the Charisma require drilling into the tub?
Asked by: Aron

1) Do the Dreamline Essence and Dreamline Charisma bathtub doors both have stainless steel ball bearing rollers?
2) What are the key differences between the Charisma and Essence doors?
Asked by: clarksvilleal
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. The rollers for both the Charisma and Essence contain stainless steel ball bearings. The Charisma has no ability to adjust for out of plumb conditions, while the Essence accommodates for up to 1/4" out of plumb conditions. The doors both have the same quality of glass and hardware. Basically, the differences are in the design of the doors. We recommend that you enlarge the photos on your computer monitor to clearly see the design differences between the Charisma and the Essence.
